I wanted to design this badge so that high school girls can feel safe while using trains to get to and from school. As a foreigner living in Japan, I am very grateful that Tokyo's public transport is so safe, easy and efficient to use. I have never experienced problems on trains, and as a female it makes me very sad to know that some high school girls are being assaulted just because of their age and gender. I hope that one day all females will be able to use Tokyo's public transport without fear.

My badge design is bold and eye-catching and will be very easily seen on a girl's backpack or school uniform. The bright yellow represents warning, while the pink represents females. The eyes are threatening and represent the watchful and protective eyes of the public. The colours are feminine so hopefully girls will want to wear the badge.
